Detailed program & Registration link
This workshop is co-organised by Unisanté - Department of Epidemiology and Health Systems and CHUV - Center for Research and Innovation in Clinical Pharmaceutical Sciences (CRISP).
It will provide an overview of recent scientific and clinical developments in the detection of adverse events—patient injuries resulting from healthcare management rather than underlying medical conditions.
Organized within the SafeCare Switzerland and SwissMADE initiatives, the event will bring together leading experts from academia, clinical practice, and health policy.
We are honoured to welcome Professor David W. Bates from Harvard Medical School, a globally recognized authority in patient safety, who will deliver the keynote address.
In the afternoon, a roundtable discussion will explore sustainable strategies for enhancing, automating, and scaling up adverse event detection across healthcare settings in Switzerland and worldwide.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in insightful presentations, share professional experiences, and contribute to discussions aimed at improving healthcare quality and safety in Switzerland.
We warmly welcome healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, students, and patient representatives.
